It had always seemed to me that there was a dearth of poetry connected with the Gallipoli campaign; some Great War anthologies contain none at all and those that do, stick to Dearmer, Lawson, Oxland, perhaps, Shaw-Stewart, so I decided to start a Bibliograhy of poetry that is about, ot at least mentions Gallipoli and the Dardanelles
It came as a surprise exactly how much poetry exists - at the present count over 500 separate poems. This is by no means complete, but finding relevant material now is increasingly difficult and I would be grateful for any further suggestions from members. Thank you.
