LENEHAN Paul Private 18352 7th Bn. Royal Dublin Fusiliers
Born: Dublin (*19/2/1879) *Resided: Curzon Street, Wood Quay, Dublin Enlisted: Dublin (*c. 8/1/1915).
*Age: 36 Date of Death: 07/08/1915 Cause: Killed in action.
*Military service: Private Lenehan had approximately seven months service at the time of his death.
*Family notes: Husband of Elizabeth Lenehan (nee Baker), of 25, Curzon Street, Wood Quay, Dublin; son of John and Helena Lenehan, of 6, Camden Villas, Dublin.
Religion: Roman Catholic. Trade/profession: Tailor (1911 Census).

LENEHAN – August 7th 1915, Paul Lenehan (Pals) 7th R.D.F., Killed in action at Suvla Bay; sorely missed and deeply regretted by his wife and children. - R.I.P.

Other notes: Private Lenehan’s Medal Index card shows him as entering the Gallipoli Theatre of Operations on 10/7/1915.
Census notes: The 1911 Census shows Paul (aged 32), residing with his wife, Elizabeth (aged 26) at No. 25, Curzon Street, Wood Quay, Dublin, also present were their children, Norah (aged 6), Paul (aged 3), and Sheila (aged 1 month), they stated on the Census that during their marriage they had three children, all of whom were alive at the time of the Census. His wife’s mother Mrs. Elizabeth Baker (widow) was also present for the Census. The 1901 Census shows Paul (Tailor, aged 25) residing as a Boarder at, No. 9, Christchurch Place, Dublin.
Grave/Memorial: Special Memorial.  40. Hill 10 Cemetery.
