Valdivia.

Built: 1911 Builders: Chantiers & Ateliers de Provence, Port de Bouc.

Owners: Societe Generale de Transports Maritimes a Vapeur, Marseilles.

Description

Weight: 7,137 Dimensions: 463ft  X 54.4.ft Speed: 15.5.knots.

Route: South America Route to Buenos Aires.

War service: Loaned to the British Admiralty for use as a Hospital Ship (managed by Union Castle Mail Steam Ship Co).

She was returned to her owners in 1919 and was scrapped in 1933.

To protect our history, we must secure it's future.
