Born: Folkestone, Kent (17/12/1892) Resided: Folkestone.
Age:21 Date of Death: 25/04/1915 Cause: Killed in action (Buried at Sea).
Family notes: Son of George and Sarah Makey Lee, of Folkestone; husband of Lilian Ada Emblen (formerly Lee), of 33, Coolinge Rd., Folkestone.
Other notes: His brother Edward Herbert Lee served at Gallipoli on board HMS Humber from June 1915 until the vessel was withdrawn for other duties. He remained with HMS Humber until the end of the war and served in the Royal Marines until 1930.
Grave/memorial Reference: Panel 14. Chatham Naval Memorial.
Other memorials: Seaman Lee is commemorated on the Folkestone War Memorial (as P. J. Lee)named in the Roll of Honour Appendix of "Folkstone in the War 1914-1919."
