The following sailor is the only casualty I can trace to the trawler Koorah during her service at the Dardanelles. His cause of death is unclear, some sources show it as "Died of Disease" others as "Killed in action or as a result of enemy action".
Initials: A

Rank: Stoker 1st Class
Regiment/Service: Royal Navy
Unit Text: H.M. Trawler "Koorah."
Age: 20
Date of Death: 04/04/1915
Service No: SS/112133
Additional information: Son of Alfred James and Sarah Jane Humphries, of 23, Fllring St., Corporation Rd., Newport, Mon. Native of Bradley, Wolverhampton.
Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead
Grave/Memorial Reference: 6.
