Gould John James Private, 10435, “C” Coy., 5th Bn. Dorsetshire Regiment.
Born: Poole, Dorset Resided: Poole Enlisted: Poole.
Age: 19. Date of death: 07/08/1915
Family notes: Son of William Henry and Frances Susan (nee Larcomb) Gould of 3, Blue Boar Lane, Poole, Dorset.
Trade/profession: Tile Cleaner (1911 English Census).
Other notes: Private Gould’s Medal Index Card shows him as entering the Gallipoli theatre of Operations on 11/7/1915; his Index Card also shows him as “K in A 7/8/1915”.
Grave/memorial reference: Panel 136 to 139. Helles Memorial.
