Title  -   Gallipoli: The Landing.

Author - Hugh Dolan and Mal Gardiner

Publisher - Z Beach

Publishing Date  - 2012

Pages - 104

Illustrations/Maps - Illustrated (Comic Format)

Here is a different one for you. A comic by Hugh Dolan (author of 36 Days) and illustrated by Mal Gardiner. Aimed at getting the younger folk into understanding the start of the campaign. It goes through all the preparation through to the landings on the 25th. The illustrating I would have to say is not the best I have seen but is passable. For around ten Aussie dollars an interesting addition to ones collection of reading material.

Looks like one of the old commando comics I used to buy when I was a kid.

It's a great idea that may just connect to a new generation at the right time.

Great find Peter.

If anyone wants to buy a copy I have some to spare if unavailable overseas. Just send me your details. Costs roughly 25AUD to purchase and send by airmail to the UK.

Regards,

Peter
